Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, known by its Spanish acronym as ADHD, is a topic of great interest to professionals in psychology, psychiatry, and neuroscience in general, due to the negative impact it has on social functioning, personal, work, academic and family of those who suffer from it. This research aims to become a new contribution to the problems that ADHD represents in the world. Regarding its structure, this study starts from a detailed review of the existing theory about ADHD (from a historical perspective, neurobiology, neuropsychology, etiology, epidemiology, treatment, prognosis, among others) and reviews about cognitive development in the stage of childhood, to move to a methodological approach that allows obtaining data on the prevalence of ADHD symptoms in a sample of children, as well as analysis of results that establish the usefulness and reliability of different scales and / or diagnostic criteria in exploring symptoms adjusted to current definitions of this disorder

Reminders are a core component of many assistive technology systems and are aimed specifically at helping people with dementia function more independently by compensating for cognitive deficits. These technologies are often utilized for prospective reminding, reminiscence, or within coaching-based systems. Traditionally, reminders have taken the form of nontechnology based aids, such as diaries, notebooks, cue cards and white boards. This article is based on the use of machine learning algorithms for the detection of Alzheimer’s disease. In the experimentation, the LWL, SimpleLogistic, Logistic, MultiLayerPercepton and HiperPipes algorithms were used. The result showed that the LWL algorithm produced the following results: Accuracy 98.81%, Precission 100%, Recall 97.62% and F- measure 98.80

Monitoring system of environmental variables for a strawberry crop using IoT tools

This research work is aimed at strengthening the resources that farmers have for crops management of pests and diseases in a digital way using internet of things through the development of a prototype. It can obtain important information of variables within a strawberry crop such as Relative Humidity, temperature and pH. These data are processed and received by means of protocols in real time. These devices allow managing the information of different variables through communication among sensors. This study presents the most critical characteristics of the strawberry by using the data collection of an IoT system. In this way the initial results can demonstrate that the system yields important information for the appropriate management of strawberry crop production

The low quality and relevance at all educational levels remain a problem present in education in Colombia, limiting the training and development of skills for work and for life. The above is evidenced in the results of the country in standardized tests. Colombia occupies one of the last places the two most recognized international tests (TIMMS and PISA); In fact, it is considered that ―at the international level, one of the benchmarks for measuring scientific competences is the PISA tests, which assess the knowledge, skills, and scientific attitudes of 15-year-old students in different countries. In 2006, PISA tests were applied to young Colombians. While it is true that the test results show the motivation of young Colombians to project in the scientific field (those evaluated had high scores in the subcompetence of identification of scientific phenomena), the country lags in other competences that are more related Direct with innovation processes, such as explaining scientific events and using scientific evidence. This article resulted from the research project: ―Strengthening of citizen and democratic culture in CT + I through the iep supported in ICT in the Department of Magdalena financed by SIGR funds - General System of Royalties
